Candidates whose career reflects a gap of years between passing of the last examination and the admission being sought now by them, are required to furnish at the time of application an affidavit to the effect attested by the Magistrate 1st class that they were not involved in  any offence / unlawful activities during the gap years.

Lectures shall be counted from the date of the commencement of the academic session / course.


Rules for Withdrawal


A student who wishes to leave the college must apply in writing to the Principal and application must be countersigned by her father or guardian. No student will be permitted to leave the college until she has cleared her college dues.

A student has to pay the college fees and all other dues until her name is formally withdrawn.




Application on the prescribed form, appended to the prospectus, should be submitted to the college office after the declaration of the result of the previous class only as per schedule given in Admission 2014-15.


Attested copy of the certificate or provisional certificate of the last examination passed by the candidate.


Attested copy of the Matriculation Certificate.


Passport size photograph; pasted on the admission form.

Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.  

In case of the student belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward classes, certificate issued by the competent authority to that effect.


A candidate having gap year (gap of year / years between passing of the last examination and the admission being sought now) is required to furnish at the time of application an affidavit in duplicate, attested by the 1st class magistrate, that the student has not been disqualified by University / Board and has not been involved in any offence / unlawful activities during the gap years.


The candidate are admitted on the basis of their merit / an interview conducted by the college authority. The college reserve the right to refuse admission to an applicant without any reason.


An applicant whose result is declared late by the Panjab University may seek admission without late fee within 10 days of the date on which the result is declared.


A student whose result of +2 examination conducted by School Board is published late, but not later than 10th August, may be admitted without late fee within 15 working days of the declaration of the result and her attendance will be counted from the date of admission.


Lectures shall be counted from the date of the commencement of academic session / course.


All admission made to the collage are provisional and subject to approval of Panjab University, Chandigarh. The college is not responsible if the University does not approve of the admission of a candidate due to any reason such as making incorrect or incomplete statements, concealing necessary information or submitting false or incorrect documents etc.





Candidate from the other colleges affiliated to Panjab University can migrate by seeking prior permission of the concerned two principals. She has to submit college leaving certificate from the previous college along with other certificates. In case  she migrates during the session, lecture statement from the previous college should also be submitted.

In case the candidate is coming from other Universities / Board / Councils / Bodies, she must submit Original Migration Certificate along with the original certificate of lower examination passed.

For the candidates from the School Boards other than CBSE, ISCE, NIOS, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, it is mandatory to get their migration certificate signed by the Distt. Education officer concerned.


Migration of a student from a professional college to this college and a vice-verse is not permissible.


A migration fee shall be charged as per Panjab University guidelines .


Migration will not be permitted if the combination of offered by the student does not tally with the combination of the subjects allowed in this college.


Mid-term migration from any other university is not allowed.


When the migration of a student has been allowed, she must join the college within 15 days, otherwise her migration shall be considered as cancelled.


The college is entitled to the tuition fee for the month in which migration is sanction and the college to which she migrates is not entitled to charge fee for the fraction of that month.


Original Migration Certificate in case the candidate is coming from other Universities / Boards / Councils / Bodies along with the original lower examination certificate must be attached.





They must have a valid passport and valid student visa.


They must equivalence certificate and eligibility certificate from Panjab University.


Fee will be as per Panjab University guidelines.


Foreign students will follow all rules and guidelines of Panjab University.
