The College offers
a spacious, fully computersized open shelf
library.
The total area of the library is 5170 Sq. ft.
and the area of the reading room is 2124 Sq. ft.
The library has 33,650 books and subscribes to
27 National and 2 International journals. Besides it receives 35 news papers and
69 magazines. Library and reading room
are kept open all students from 9 am to 4 pm on
all working days. It has open access facility.
The library is computerized and issue and
receipt of books is carried out through the use
of laser scanner. All books have been
automated with bar codes and are stored in open
shelf for easy access to students. For
meritorious and economically backward students
book bank facility is available. The library also provides books to
students during examination time with the
collection of deposit money. It has also
Internet and Photo copying facilities.
The college has a physical
education center with qualified physical
education teachers and coaches. The college has
facilities for various games and sports. It has
a full-fledged gymnasium playfields for
football, hockey, cricket, Baseball, Kho-kho
etc, courts for Basketball, Volley ball, and
Badminton.
This all girl’s
college has become the first institution to
introduce the adventure Sport-Climbing Rock of
International quality. The rock, 12 meter high
and 5 meter wide, has two faces for difficult
climbing and one face for speed climbing, good
enough for holding national championship. To be
of some service to the society we have offered
the facility to adventure lovers and armed
forces during summer vacations.
The college has developed a
Botanical garden and nursery called “Rishi
Vatika” to rear rare plants of medicinal value
and statues of various ancient Rishis and
preacher of Vedas. Besides it has developed a
“Tapovan” where the students of Philosophy
practice Yoga and meditation by others.
Vermicomposting is also promoted in the
botanical garden.

To produce
potential women through quality education
remains a constant endeavour at MCM. With the
changing times and onset of technology the
teaching-learning process has undergone a
radical change. In addition to the conventional
'Chalk and Talk method, the students and faculty
have adopted the latest teaching techniques as
such as LCD, OHP, Visualizer and other
multimedia system.
