The various
courses of study offer ample scope to the
students to select a suitable course and
supplement it with various multi-disciplinary
additional options. The college runs degree
classes in all the three traditional streams of
education - Science, Commerce, Humanities
with Honours in eight subjects : E-Commerce,
Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political,
Science and Sociology. We have a total of 28
departments offering as many as 21 programmes.
Presently, the college is running PG courses in
English, Sociology and IT.
Realizing the importance of vocation as an
essential parameter in the development of
personality as a means of empower women, the
college runs various vocational courses.
Professional Courses such as B.Sc.-MFT and BCA
are also offered to the students. Since the
objectives of the institutions focus on
producing potential women, we equip them with
qualifications to start their own enterprise as
well with career-Oriented courses affiliated to
Panjab University (UGC sponsored).
The college also provides a great deal of
horizontal and vertical mobility to the students
in the choice of core and non-core options and a
lot of flexibility in the time frame within the
constraints of the prescribed syllabi. |
