The college has won the Panjab University General
Efficiency All-Round Championship in sports for 36
years. The college owns well maintained playfields and Seth
Bhagirath Das Gymnasium Hall within the campus. Facilities
are provided for various games and sports such as Hockey,
Volley Ball, Ball Badminton, Basketball, Handball, Softball,
Cricket, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Badminton, Lawn Tennis,
Swimming, Yoga, Kabbaddi, Gymnastic, Judo, Weight
Lifting, Power Lifting, Cycling, Rowing, Athletics,
Shooting, Baseball, Netball, Archary, Football, Fencing and
Chess.
Special Facilities for Outstanding Players :
Free hostel accommodation.
Free nutritious and balanced diet.
Free medical-aid.
Free sports-kit.
Special inspiration scholarship (In Cash) by the college.
Players are also eligible to apply for scholarship awarded
by NIS - Patiala and Sports Department-Chandigarh
Administration.
Terms and Conditions for Sports Students :
It would be compulsory to all the players to attend training
for an hour and a half in the morning and two hours in the
evening from the beginning of the session under the direct
supervision of a Lecturer in Physical Education. Coaches are
also appointed to impart training to the players.
Leave Rules for Sports Students :
Any
member of the Sports Wing found absent continuously for one
week without prior permission of the principal would not
only loose the seat in the Wing but it would also entail the
cancellation of her admission.
The
facilities provided are liable to be withdrawn if
performance are not maintained or improved upon.
Members of various team must report punctually for daily
practice and for matches otherwise facilities / incentives
given will be withdrawn.
Eligibility
Rules :
At
the time of admission against sports seat, the players
should have a minimum standing of the state level i.e.
First, Second or Third position in the Inter-School or Open
Championship.
A
failed student is not eligible for sports facility during
the next academic session.
Any
player punished for indiscipline in the college is not
eligible for sports prizes or college colour and sports
facilities will be withdrawn.
The
players participating in the University Tournament are
required to attend minimum 50% lectures in each subject
during their stay in the college. |

| Best Athlete of the year.
| Player who win first or second position in the
sports event at the time of Annual College Sports.
| Player who win Gold Medal in individual event in
the Panjab University Inter-College / All India
Inter-University competitions.
| Player who won 1st and 2nd places in
team games in the Panjab University Inter-College
competitions.
